YoungCraft signs CVS to 13,200 s/f at The Rockwell

New Rochelle, NY According to YoungCraft, CVS Pharmacy has signed a multi-year lease for 13,200 s/f of retail space at “The Rockwell,” the company’s latest mixed-use project on North Ave. in the city. CVS will occupy 13,200 s/f of the development’s 22,000 total s/f devoted to ground floor retail. Construction is scheduled to be completed in summer 2020.

“We are thrilled to have CVS Pharmacy be the inaugural tenant of this fabulous retail space at ‘The Rockwell.’ We worked closely with the CVS team to create an easily-accessible, drive thru pharmacy window, on-site truck loading, and ample parking within steps of the front entrance,” said Robert Young, partner of YoungCraft.

“CVS will provide ‘The Rockwell’ residents and all City residents with a convenient shopping option for their daily prescription, health, and household needs. We couldn’t be happier to have them on-board as we continue to revitalize this stretch of North Avenue with the development of ‘The Rockwell’ and our phase II project across the street, ‘The Illustrator’ scheduled to break ground in September 2019.”

The new CVS will feature a 24-hour drive-up pharmacy window and 63 parking spaces.

The new store will offer access to best-in-class pharmacy services and a shopping experience truly dedicated to helping people on the path to better health. Including better-for-you food options, elevated beauty sections, and an enhanced assortment of health and wellness products, CVS Pharmacy will continue to evolve the customer’s shopping experience with a heightened focus on health and beauty.

Mayor Noam Bramson expressed his appreciation for the pharmacy’s commitment to the North Ave. neighborhood and for the impact “The Rockwell” is already having on the area, “CVS’s continued presence on North Ave. as an anchor tenant of 'The Rockwell' is good news for the area and for New Rochelle’s overall development plans. We wish them well in this new space and look forward to additional progress on North Ave. and throughout the downtown overlay zone.”

“The Rockwell,” named for artist Norman Rockwell, will feature 114 apartments, a rooftop terrace, a community lounge, a fitness center and an additional 144 parking spaces for residents and adjoining retail customers.
