What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years?
We all have an eye, or two, on AI and how its continued advancement will impact CRE in the short and long term. AI-powered tools are transforming client services and how investments, management, tenant experiences and strategic decisions are made. By leveraging data more effectively, these technologies can drive faster, more informed decisions resulting in cost-effective long-term value for clients. At the same time, CRE remains a relationship-driven business where human judgment, trust, negotiation and relationship building are irreplaceable. I’m excited to see where this balance lands.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
Commercial real estate is an exciting industry where no two days are the same and it’s constantly evolving. My advice is to stay curious, explore different sectors, and discover the aspects of the business that genuinely inspire you. Seek a work environment where people believe in your potential and development but ultimately, it is up to you to invest in yourself. Roll up your sleeves, put in the hours, and learn from the talented colleagues and clients around you. Your efforts together with the right team can accelerate your growth and empower you to build a rewarding and impactful career.
