Yardi introduces iPhone application - RENTCafé

Yardi has successfully launched its RENTCafé.com iPhone application, which enhances the mobile dimension of the RENTCafe.com Internet listing service platform. The RENTCafé iPhone app was made available at Apple's App Store on March 23. In the first two and half weeks of its deployment the RENTCafé iPhone app generated nearly 4,500 downloads and more than 230,000 page views from users in more than 900 cities. Each user visited an average of 22 pages, and more than half revisited the site. The RENTCafé iPhone app has quickly gained traction in many major metropolitan areas, with high usage reported in Los Angeles, N.Y., Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Seattle and Washington, D.C. The new app gives prospects access to RENTCafé listings from any location through an iPhone. They can search for apartments, see photo galleries, compare amenities, view available floor plans and request a visit, with instant local search capability available through the Global Positioning System. Searches can be filtered by city, ZIP Code and radius, and by beds/baths, amenities, pets and other attributes. For property managers using Yardi Voyager, the RENTCafe.com and the RENTCafé iPhone app sends prospect information directly into Voyager, populating a guest card and beginning the online application workflow.
