WNY NYSCAR 12th annual awards dinner and swearing in ceremony; Starzynski of CBRE awarded for largest sale of 2012

The Western New York Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS (WNY NYSCAR) held its 12th annual awards dinner and swearing in ceremony for the 2013 board of directors. Held this year at the Acqua Restaurant and Banquets, located on the Inner Harbor waterfront, the event sold out to an audience of 206 attendees. The Western New York Chapter award for the largest sale transaction of 2012 was granted to Bob Starzynski of CBRE for the sale of an apartment project in Lewiston. The largest lease transaction was awarded to Dave Schiller of Cushman Wakefield-Pyramid for the long term lease of PHH at College Business Park in Amherst. Other award recipients included the Robert Shibley, dean of the U. B. School of Architecture and Planning for the meritorious service award and Dennis Greco, of Greco Realty for the lifetime achievement award. In addition, recognition was given to the 1st and 2nd runners up of the largest sale and lease transactions. NYSCAR would like to thank chairmen Alan Hastings, of Hastings Cohn Real Estate and Nick Malagisi of Sperry Van Ness/Commercial Realty for organizing the event these last twelve years.
