WaMu signs for 3,600 s/f at Manor Rd. shopping center on Staten Island
Washington Mutual, Inc. (WaMu) has signed a 10-year lease for 3,600 s/f of retail space at Muss Development's Manor Road Shopping Center. The deal leaves just two vacancies within the mixed-use center.
The 53,817 s/f two-story shopping center located at 754 Manor Rd., off Westwood Rd., has 17 office suites on the second floor. Waldbaum's, CVS, a dry cleaner and several eateries are currently on the tenant roster. The center, built in 1969, has more than 150 parking spaces.
What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
