W&H Properties leases space to Peter Brown at 250 West 57th St.
"The public relations firm of Peter Brown, an associate of the Beatles and author of "The Love You Make," a Beatles biography, has signed a lease at W&H Properties' 250 West 57th St," said Barry Zeller, executive director of Cushman & Wakefield, the building's leasing and managing agent.
The firm, Brown Lloyd James (BLJ), which represents such clients as Andrew Lloyd Webber and his production company, The Really Useful Group, Ltd., the BBC, Forbes, AARP, Polo Ralph Lauren, Christie's and IBM, will move into its 3,756 s/f space in mid-December from its current location on 41 West 57th St.
"Peter Brown should feel right at home here," said Zeller. "We have plenty of famous tenants on site, such as Al Roker, author Robert Caro, and Butch Lewis, the boxing promoter and manager and actors' agent, to name a few."
BLJ is a strategic communications consultancy offering high-level public relations advice to organizations and individuals, including media handling, reputation management and business development. The firm has offices in New York, London and Doha, Qatar.
Ruth Colp Haber of Wharton Property Advisors, Inc. represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.
A $82 million capital improvement program has recently concluded at 250 West 57th St. The renovations include new windows, elevator cabs, upgraded building systems, refurbished air-conditioned public corridors, and a renovated lobby and concierge desk. The building also has a newly renovated entrance to the 59th St. subway station, which gives tenants access to eight lines. Stops for four bus lines are nearby.
Part of the W&H Properties portfolio, 250 West 57th St. is owned by Fisk Building Associates LLC, a partnership led by Peter Malkin.
