Dance Studio extends 5,000 s/f lease at Koeppel Rosen’s 37 W. 37th St.

Manhattan, NY Koeppel Rosen LLC closed a 5,000 s/f, long-term lease extension for DWM Dance Studio Midtown LLC (Dance With Me) on the entire second floor of 37 West 37th St.

Max Koppel, director of leasing at Koeppel Rosen represented ownership in-house, there was no tenant broker. Dance With Me has occupied the space at 37 West 37th since 2015. 

“The building’s central location in Midtown Manhattan and proximity to many modes of transportation is ideal for Dance With Me and its customers,” said Koeppel. “It was a pleasure to work with the studio on an extended lease negotiation at the building, where it can continue to teach the art of dance.”

Dance With Me is a dance studio offering private lessons, group classes, and special occasion choreography across ballroom, Latin, and social styles. Serving dancers of all ages and experience levels, the studio is also recognized as the home base for celebrity professionals from Dancing with the Stars, creating a dynamic and welcoming environment for both beginners and seasoned dancers alike. The studio has another location in New York City and one on Long Island, in addition to multiple outlets along the East Coast and in Texas. 

The 12-story building at 37 West 37th St. is a Class-B office property in Midtown South, between Fifth and Sixth Aves. The building features a modern marble lobby, elaborate historic façade with beautiful decorative elements, and 24-hour access. Built in 1915 and designed by Herman Lee, the 61,722 s/f property is three blocks from Bryant Park and offers access to a number of transportation options like Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station, and several MTA bus/subway lines. 

The roster of tenants leasing space at 37 West 37th St. include EW Howell Construction Group, ABS Engineering, and Hobo Audio Company LLC.
