Manhattan, NY FirstService Residential has promoted David Valente and Mark Pepe to senior vice president in the firm’s condo/co-op property management division. In their new roles, Valente and Pepe will each have executive oversight of a portfolio of condominium and cooperative properties and teams of dedicated property managers and assistant property managers who specialize in providing service to board members and residents in some of the city’s residential buildings.

“Mark and David have established themselves as respected leaders within our organization and have earned a solid reputation as trusted advisors among our clients, who rely on us to provide solutions that enhance operations, reduce costs, and protect their assets,” said Christina Forbes, president of the condo/co-op division. “I am confident they will continue to nurture a culture of support and inclusion among their management teams and continue to add value to the boards, residents, and buildings we serve.”

Pepe, who joined the company in 2005, has executive oversight of a portfolio of properties that includes The Berkeley House, a pristine 1940’s co-op overlooking Central Park South; Carnegie Hill Tower, a 210-unit, high-rise condominium on Manhattan’s Upper East Side; The Landmark, a 36-story luxury co-op in Sutton Place; and One Hanson Place, a landmarked commercial-to-residential conversion in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that comprises 175 residences and a luxe collection of amenities.

Valente, a 17-year company veteran, counts these notable buildings among his property portfolio: Baccarat Residences, an amenity-rich, condominium at 20 West 53rd St.; Cipriani Residences, 55 Wall St., a National Historic Landmark; the historic Grand Madison condo building at 225 Fifth Ave.; 75 Wall St., an award-winning residential tower in Manhattan’s Financial District; and Greenwich Club Residences, an Art Deco-style tower at 88 Greenwich St. As a retired member of the New York City Bar Association, Valente views board challenges from a legal perspective, which adds significant value to the services and solutions rendered by his team.
