Tzaidi of EPIC Commercial secures $109 million sale of five lot assemblage; sole broker between Merchant Hospitality and a Senior Living Company

EPIC Commercial Realty arranged the sale of 1802-1810 2nd Ave. & 303-305 East 93rd St., a five lot assemblage located in the Upper East Side. The lots contain five mixed-use buildings with 125' of frontage on 2nd Ave. and 50' along East 93rd St. The unique opportunity is comprised of an impressive 213,000 s/f of development rights. The site sold for $109 million with Ido Tzaidi, of EPIC commercial realty, acting as the sole broker for the five-building site between Merchant Hospitality and a Senior Living Company. "Ido Tzaidi is not only very smart but extremely creative in how he approaches a transaction" said Abraham Merchant, CEO and co-founder of Merchant Hospitality. Merchant Hospitality had Handel Architects design the 29-story tower, named The Amalfi. "Merchant had a unique opportunity in their hands. Their plans for The Amalfi gave a perfect spin on the site and piqued the interest of the Senior Living Company," said Tzaidi said. "Our agents and brokers all have the same goal - to find the right buyers for every listing they bring into the office, and they are determined to do so," said Yona Edelkopf, CEO of EPIC. "Ido worked this deal and formed an important and meaningful relationship with the seller in order to assist in finding the perfect investor for the site. This sale represents the type of deals we strive for at EPIC."
