The Continental, Costas Kondylis' 53-story project begins leasing

The Continental, the new Costas Kondylis-designed, 53-story, 338-unit luxury rental tower located at 885 Sixth Ave., began leasing January 14, with move-ins anticipated this month. Developed by Tower 111, LLC and situated on the corner of Sixth Ave. and 32nd St., The Continental offers studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with home office, and two-bedroom apartments starting on the ninth floor. The building's lobby, amenity spaces and garage, as well as retail space may be found on the lower floors. Upon move-in, residents will enjoy the exclusive Continental Club & Spa, featuring a 50-foot indoor infinity-edge lap swimming pool with heated hydrotherapy spa, set within a double-height, glass-enclosed atrium and extending onto a landscaped sun terrace furnished with lounge chairs. A health club with a fitness and cardio center, yoga studio, his-and-hers locker rooms and his-and-hers treatment rooms, will also be available to residents. "The Continental's location, views, floor plans and unique amenities all have contributed to the buzz and interest from renters we are already seeing in this tower," said Cliff Finn, managing director of new development marketing for Citi Habitats Marketing Group, the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for The Continental. "The building is an impressive addition to the Sixth Ave. corridor and surrounding neighborhood, which is burgeoning with new food destinations like Eataly, Bar Basque and Food Parc, hotels such as the Eventi and Gansevoort, shopping and nightlife." The tower's lobby features exclusively designed custom furnishings by Capri Furniture, Christopher Guy and J. Robert Scott. Apartments boast floor-to-ceiling tinted windows, ceilings as high as 10 feet, white oak flooring throughout and Asko washers and dryers in every residence.
