New York, NY TF Cornerstone (TFC) has signed a 1,300 s/f short-term agreement with Fishs Eddy – an eclectic source for home goods rooted in American restaurant dish and glassware – for a holiday-themed pop-up shop at the owner/developer’s 90-100 Gansevoort St. property neighboring the Allouche Gallery and within close proximity to the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Highline. The pop-up will use the raw space at 90 Gansevoort Street for a minimum three-month lease, to feature piles of the brand’s unique gifts and offer holiday shoppers a fun and unusual grab-and-go shopping experience. “We had an opportunity to host another pop-up and Fishs Eddy was a perfect fit given the upcoming holiday shopping season,” said Steve Gonzalez, director of retail leasing for TF Cornerstone. “This fun and whimsical retail concept will no doubt benefit from the increased foot traffic in the area during the holiday shopping season.” “For the last three decades, Fishs Eddy has been a landmark destination for people from all over the world searching for great gifts, unusual finds, and the unexpected,” said founder Noah Lenovitz. “After having a warehouse in the Meatpacking neighborhood when we first started the brand, we are excited to be returning to the neighborhood with a holiday pop-up concept, that puts a twist on our already imaginative creations.” The pop-up will be Fishs Eddy’s first venture after opening the brand’s flagship Flatiron location in 1986. Through the years, the dish artisans have collaborated with artists such as Todd Oldham, Wayne White and Amy Sedaris. 90 - 100 Gansevoort St. – the retail portion of TF Cornerstone’s mixed-use residential property in the Meatpacking District, also known as 95 Horatio Street – most recently hosted the experiential pop-up, Museum of Ice Cream, this past summer.
