Terwilliger & Bartone Properties' The Cornerstone Westbury start occupancy

Farmingdale, NY According to Terwilliger & Bartone Properties, residents have begun to move in to The Cornerstone Westbury, a modern luxury residential community located 1,000 feet from the Westbury Train Station at 461 Railroad Ave. An official ribbon cutting will be held at the property on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, at 4:00pm in the afternoon.

This grand opening comes on the heels of over 1,200 applications submitted for The Cornerstone Westbury’s 18 workforce housing units before the application period closed on July 24, 2023. The Long Island Housing Partnership (LIHP), in coordination with The Cornerstone and the Village of Westbury, conducted a lottery last month for applicants who qualified for LIHP’s Affordable Rental Housing Program.

“We are excited that residents are already moving into the Cornerstone, all made possible by the  Village of Westbury’s new Transit Oriented Development zoning,” said Anthony Bartone, managing partner of Terwilliger & Bartone. “Residents moving in will not only have access to transit, they will energize further the retail and commercial establishments in the area, all right in the heart of Westbury.”

The Cornerstone Westbury is a professionally managed community with 72 units available in Phase I and 58 units in Phase II.

Apartments feature open concepts, high ceilings, designer kitchens, and modern finishes. Community amenities will include direct access to the LIRR platform, a rooftop patio, valet living, a fire pit, an oversized clubhouse for entertaining, modern fitness centers, and secure on-site parking as well as resident events and activities organized by professional and caring community managers.
