Manhattan, NY Tarter Krinsky & Drogin expanded its real estate and commercial leasing capabilities with the addition of partner Edward Goodman in its real estate practice. Goodman has skill and experience in the negotiation of commercial office leases.

Goodman is the 19th attorney to join the firm this year as it continues this recent period of massive growth and transformation. He brings considerable experience working with clients on both U.S. and international lease negotiations.

“As we’ve experienced tremendous growth this year, we’ve focused on diversifying our services so that we can better serve our clients on the various issues and needs they face. This growth has included strategically bringing on established practitioners who are known for their expertise as well as high-quality client service,” said managing partner Alan Tarter. “With over 21 real estate professionals, our real estate practice has built an incredibly strong reputation for our breadth of services and vast experience in both the New York and national markets. Ed’s addition continues to strengthen that commitment to our real estate clients, as we broaden our commercial office leasing capabilities, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

“We offer our clients a deep bench of experience in handling commercial real estate leases of all types, and we are always looking to build on that strength.  We’re excited to welcome Ed to our team. With his significant experience in representing corporate clients in their leasing needs throughout the U.S. and internationally, Ed will significantly strengthen the depth of our services and add additional capacity for our Firm to handle leases of all sizes,” said chair of the real estate practice William Weisner.

Over his established career, Goodman has primarily focused on commercial office leasing on behalf of both landlords and tenants. In addition, he guides clients on real estate issues arising in corporate mergers and acquisitions.

“Having worked within the commercial office leasing space throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with my clients on a number of U.S. and international lease negotiations spanning a variety of market conditions. Now, I’m thrilled to expand the support I provide my clients as I join this highly experienced real estate team,” said Goodman. “Not only does the real estate team have vast experience across the industry, but the Firm’s multidisciplinary experience allows me to offer additional services to my clients, including in the areas of tax, labor & employment, litigation, corporate transactions, and construction law.”
