What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why?

I represented a lender in a $2.8 billion NYC acquisition loan, financing one of the city’s largest affordable housing projects with 236 units for low-income families. Working alongside top lawyers and foreign investors, I gained deep experience in affordable housing law and felt empowered as a female diverse lawyer contributing to a meaningful, complex transaction.

What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in commercial real estate?

Build strong relationships with successful women in commercial real estate and create short- and long-term career strategies. These connections accelerate growth and industry knowledge, while a clear strategy keeps you focused on your goals and ensures you stay on the right trajectory throughout your career.
