Subcontractors Trade Association to hold Awards Dinner on May 4th; Honoring distinguished construction industry leaders

The Subcontractors Trade Association (STA) will be holding their 44th Annual Construction Awards Dinner at Russo's On The Bay located at 162-45 Cross Bay Blvd., Howard Beach, on May 4th at 7 p.m. The STA will be honoring the accomplishments of several of the state's distinguished construction industry leaders for their exceptional contributions and dedication to the trade. The evening will include cocktails and dinner, followed by the awards ceremony. This year's honorees include: Silver Shovel: Joseph Ienuso of Columbia University; Public Official of the Year: Kathryn Mallon, deputy commissioner, Bureau of Engineering, Design & Construction, Department of Environmental Protection; Builder of the Year: Frank Sciame, CEO and chairman, and Joseph Mizzi, President, F. J. Sciame Construction Co., Inc.; Subcontractor of the Year: Peter Cafiero, president, Island Painting, Inc.
