SSG Development starts const. of two Florida self storage projects

According to Gerald Cohen, manager of SSG Development LLC, the company has begun construction on two fully climatized self storage facilities in southern Fla. The first facility, a five-story 116,000 s/f fully climatized facility is located at 6840 SW 8th St. . The facility is being constructed by SSG Construction LLC and will include 1,000 storage units. The facility should be ready by September, 2009. In addition to the self storage facility, SSG has an extra land parcel that has been approved for either office or retail use. The second facility, a four-story 129,000 s/f fully climatized facility is located at 27232 South Dixie Hwy., Naranja. The facility will have complete access to U.S. 1 and 272nd St. In addition to the self storage building, SSG will be providing 37 R.V. and boat storage spaces. The facility will be managed by Extra Space.
