Spector Group designs new 26,000 s/f office for DeSimone Consulting

DeSimone's New York City headquarters, 140 Broadway - Manhattan, NY

New York, NY Spector Group, a N.Y.-based global architecture, interiors and master planning firm, and DeSimone Consulting Engineers, unveiled the firm’s NYC headquarters. 

Tasked with creating a contemporary work environment that would facilitate direct communication and collaboration between DeSimone’s international offices, Spector Group designed a professional work setting defined by openness and flexibility. Located on the 25th floor of 140 Broadway, DeSimone’s New York office comprises 26,000 s/f of office, breakout and social space. The centrally located bistro area serves as the social hub of the office, while the adjacent gaming area, training room and lounge provide additional creative and collaborative spaces for meetings and gatherings. Glass windows along the perimeter of the space has views of the Manhattan skyline, while gallery walls around the core of the office space showcase black and white photographs of DeSimone projects.

“As long-time collaborators with DeSimone on some of the world’s most notable projects, we were beyond thrilled and humbled when asked to take on the design of their NYC headquarters,” said Marc Spector, AIA, NCARB, principal of The Spector Group.

“We strove to create a space that captures the spirit and culture of DeSimone, and also serves as the firm’s signature brand image.”
