SMPS-NY to hold annual holiday party on December 8

With a slideshow celebrating the chapter's 25th year and Silver Anniversary, The N.Y. area chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) will celebrate the holiday season at its annual holiday party, on Dec. 8 at the Herman Miller Showroom, 1177 Avenue of the Americas. The party will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. "The SMPS-NY Holiday Party is the perfect opportunity to take a break from the very tense and challenging environment we are all currently working in," said Patricia Neumann (CEO and president of Accu-Cost Construction Consultants, Inc. and SMPS-NY Chapter president). "This is a wonderful opportunity to come, relax, and celebrate the season with your old friends and colleagues and meet new potential clients." "Once again, we will be having our fantastic gift raffle, which has become a holiday tradition at this event, with proceeds going to our education fund. Please don't forget to bring a toy for the 'Toys for Tots' program sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, who will be making their annual visit," said Neumann. The SMPS-NY special events committee organizes the annual holiday party. This year, Desiree Rucker-Addison, proposal coordinator at Parsons Brinckerhoff and long-time member of SMPS-NY, is the event chairperson. The cost for pre-registered attendees is $65 for members and $85 for non-members. Tickets at the door will be $75 for members and $95 for non-members. For more info, please visit www.smpsny.org.
