SMPS-NY's 12th Annual Honor Awards to be held April 29th

The New York chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS-NY) will recognize excellence in marketing, as well as the public, development and media sectors, with its 12th Annual Honor Awards on Tuesday, April 29. The event will begin with cocktails between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., to be followed by the ceremonies, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., at the Millennium Hotel, 145 West 44th St. The awards are also intended to highlight SMPS's mission to educate and connect leaders in the building industry. Those being honored at the event are: * David Burney, commissioner, Dept. of Design and Construction, N.Y.C., the Public Sector Award; * Larry Silverstein, president and CEO of Silverstein Properties, the Developer Award; * Lockhart Steele, president and founder of Curbed.com, the Media Honor Award; * Maxinne Rhea Leighton, assoc. AIA, principal - business development and director of marketing at Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners, the Marketing Champion award; * Judy Pullar, vice president and director of business development of Cannon Design, the Marketing Achievement award; and * Kirsten Sibilia, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, director of marketing and communication of FXFOWLE Architects, the Marketing Mentor award. The 12th Annual Honor Awards program is organized by Stephanie Lin, director of special events for SMPS-NY. The cost is $100 for members (pre-registered) or $125 (walk-in) and $175 for non-members (pre-registered) and $200 (walk-in). For more information or to register, please visit www.smpsny.org.
