Siegel of Circle Mortgage: Educating people is important

Name: Dale Robyn Siegel Title: President Company Name: Circle Mortgage Group Years in Commercial Real Estate: 28 Who are three women- living or dead - that you would like to have drinks with and why? Angelina Jolie because she gives way more than she receives and I admire her greatly. Queen Elizabeth because I am sure she is still way fun. Hillary Clinton, because, well who wouldn't! What was your first job and what did you learn from it? I graduated law school one semester early and took a job cleaning boats in Cos Cob, Connecticut. It was physically hard work and lots of fun. I learned how to work in a group and coordinate job duties. I was outdoors and got a great tan and felt fabulous. It was the best job I had until I passed the Bar and my parents made me quit and get a "real job."Wasn't that real? What is your favorite quote? "Knowledge is power." I thought I wrote it, but apparently it is attributed to Francis Bacon way back in 1597. What social media and/or face to face networking activities do you find most beneficial professionally? The most important thing I do is educate people, both consumers and professionals. It is personally satisfying as well as a great way to attract new customers and referral sources. I have always thought of myself as an educator and know that I am giving back to my community in the best wayI know- knowledge. Lately, I have been doing a lot of local events. This is great in that it gets me out there in the community and I am more accessible to local businesses.
