Sherle Wagner renews at 699 Madison Avenue

Manhattan, NY Sherle Wagner International has renewed its showroom lease at 699 Madison Avenue, maintaining its position on one of Manhattan’s luxury retail blocks.

The building, located between East 62nd and East 63rd Streets, sits in the Upper East Side’s Madison Avenue corridor. The immediate block is home to several of the world’s leading luxury brands, including Van Cleef & Arpels at 690 Madison Avenue and Hermès at 706 Madison Avenue, placing Sherle Wagner among an elite roster of international fashion and jewelry houses.

Joseph Aquino

Joseph Aquino, president of JAACRES, represented Sherle Wagner International in the renewal. Tito Ghose of Brown Harris Stevens represented the property ownership.

“Sherle Wagner is one of the original luxury brands of Madison Avenue,” said Aquino. “Their craftsmanship, heritage, and loyal designer following make them a natural fit on this block, alongside some of the world’s most prestigious names in jewelry and fashion. This renewal reflects both the strength of the brand and the continued global appeal of Madison Avenue’s luxury corridor.”

Founded in the 1940s by designer Sherle Wagner and Rose Wagner, the company is credited with transforming the bathroom into a decorative and status-oriented space through the introduction of gold-plated fixtures, ornate handles, and finely crafted accessories. Today, the brand remains a leader in high-end plumbing fixtures, accessories, and decorative hardware, serving luxury residences, hotels, and yachts worldwide.

The renewal underscores the continued strength and desirability of the Madison Avenue luxury corridor, which remains one of the most sought-after retail destinations for global luxury brands.
