Shawmut launches its Luxury Homes division

New York, NY Shawmut Design and Construction has created its Luxury Homes division. The new business line will focus on the needs of the luxury residential market, bringing its construction techniques and client-first culture to home building.

“We started building homes as a special service to our commercial clients who wanted the same superior service we provide for their businesses reflected at home,” said Les Hiscoe, CEO of Shawmut. “It’s a meaningful move for us and a nod to our heritage as we formalize our commitment and bring our unprecedented expertise to the residential market.”

With its roots in the residential industry spanning over three decades, Shawmut’s legacy is steeped in commercial construction experience for some of the nation’s most illustrious brands and businesses. The new division is being launched by the same team of executives who grew Shawmut’s luxury retail division—one of the firm’s most high-profile business lines. The Luxury Homes team brings expertise with the finest and most unique finishes in the world, combined with a sophisticated scheduling and cost controlling construction delivery system and experience.

“We’re partnering with the world’s top architects and designers to make these highly sought-after services more widely available,” said William Pisani, vice president, Luxury Homes at Shawmut. “Our talented and experienced residential teams excel at making the process of building a luxury home a different, uplifting experience, and have, already delivered dream homes for A-list Grammy winners, casino developers, billionaire tech moguls, and more.”

Shawmut Luxury Homes is the firm’s newest division and will be offered nationwide with a focus on the New York, Los Angeles, and Miami markets.
