Shawmut Design and Construction donates $26,000 worth of toys through Project Happier Holidays

New York, NY  For the second year in row, Shawmut Design and Construction, a $1.3 billion national construction management firm, donated 1,200 toys worth $26,000 to children in need across the country through the Project Happier Holidays initiative. This year, Shawmut created an online campaign called "Welcome to Shawmutville," in which clients and partners were invited to search through "Shawmutville" to find the Shawmut gift box, which was filled with toys from the children’s wish lists. The toys were then purchased as a donation to a worthy non-profit in each of Shawmut’s local communities. This holiday season, Shawmut donated gifts to The Home for Little Wanderers (Boston), Coalition for the Homeless (New York), Hollygrove (Los Angeles), His House Children’s Home (Miami), Olive Crest (Las Vegas), Louie’s Place (Providence, R.I.), ‘r kids Family Center (New Haven, Conn.) Shawmut Design and Construction is a $1.3 billion national construction management firm with a reputation for completing extremely complex and logistically challenging projects for the most high-profile clients in the industry.
