What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? Our most notable project this year was the Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House. Being able to restore a historic landmark so vital to a community was both economically and spiritually satisfying.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? I’m continuing to work on Essex Crossing in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, an almost 2 million s/f project that will include 1,000 new residences — more than half of which are affordable — along with retail and office space.

What market trend(s) will impact your industry in 2019? Our company, a professional mergers & acquisitions and business brokerage firm, sees continued growth in our industry for 2019, benefiting buyers and sellers.  Currently, interest rates are still low for buyers, and for sellers, there is still currently favorable taxation.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? Stroock’s national real estate group spearheaded many notable and exciting deals over the past year.  One deal we’re particularly proud of as a firm is our representation of biopharmaceutical leader Pfizer Inc. in its new global headquarters in one of Manhattan’s most historic and innovative developments: Hudson Yards.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? We insured several transactions exceeding $100 million in 2018, but most noteworthy was probably issuing the title policy for the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas for $1.8 billion.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? Lease renewal with both tenants at 4016 Nesconset Hwy, Setauket, Ethan Allen and La Z Boy, for over 30,000 s/f.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? The most notable window project I led this year was for the new luxury apartment complex The Lenox in Jersey City, N.J. Crystal Windows supplied over 2,000 energy efficient architectural aluminum windows combined to create expansive window walls for this development.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018?   Represented the owner of the property at 20 Times Square, New York, New York in connection with its $1.53 billion sale of the property.

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2018? Marketing the former IBM property in Somers, NY as a school campus opportunity. This was one of those rare occasions where you retrofit a building for a different use that actually lays out very nicely. This site has all the key elements necessary for the conversion to work; it’s spacious, interconnecting buildings, as well as housing and residential life and dorm potential.
