What advice would you give the next generation of women in your industry? I have two pieces of advice. First, show up in person. The commercial real estate industry is fueled by relationships. While a hybrid work environment may be convenient, it cannot replace face to face interaction and the connections and learning that occurs when you are with your team in person.

The 1,400-unit residential development comprises three mixed-use towers on the Halletts Peninsula in Astoria, Queens and includes 335 permanently affordable residences, a public waterfront park, 21,500 s/f for community facilities, and a 525-space parking garage. The public spaces and park were designed in collaboration with landscape architect Ken Smith Workshop.

Skanska and its joint venture partner, N.J.-based Railroad Construction Co. have been selected by the MTA to make improvements on the Flushing Line for $200 million.
