Savanna hires veteran Reiver as director of leasing
Savanna has hired Brian Reiver as director of leasing. In his new position, Reiver is responsible for supervising leasing across Savanna's office portfolio, directly handling transactions with existing tenants in addition to overseeing efforts in securing new tenants in conjunction with third party brokers. In this capacity Reiver is also responsible for tenant relations, advancing Savanna's strategy in the market and supporting asset management and repositioning initiatives.
Reiver joins Savanna with over 11 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having held the position of vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle where he worked in both the landlord agency and tenant representation business units.
His extensive experience throughout New York City has included office and retail leasing, property redevelopment and repositioning, site identification and selection, as well as interfacing with the brokerage community. Most recently, Mr. Reiver had negotiated over 200,000 square feet of leases within the Savanna portfolio as an Agent for Savanna, including 140,000 s/f at 100 Wall Street and 62,000 square feet at Two Rector Street.

In 2012, Savanna completed 71 leasing transaction in its New York City portfolio, totaling over 500,000 square feet. Among their most active properties are 80 Broad Street, a 36-story, 419,000 square foot office building and 100 Wall Street, a 29-story, 519,000 square foot office building. Both properties are located in Manhattan's Financial District.

Reiver earned a bachelor of science in Business Administration at Boston University and a Master of Science in Real Estate with a concentration in finance & investment from New York University. He is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
