11 Broadway - Manhattan, NY

Goldstein, Hill & West Architects (GHWA) has signed a new lease for 8,500 s/f of office space at 11 Broadway.
GHWA, best known for designing high-rise residential buildings, has expanded since its formation in 2009 by principals Alan Goldstein, Stephen Hill, and David West, outgrowing its current offices in Midtown South. By relocating its headquarters to 11 Broadway, GHWA will occupy a high-quality, historic building with room for further growth.
"My partners and I are very fortunate to continue to attract high-profile engagements with many of the top developers in New York, and over the last two years the firm has outgrown our existing loft space. We were searching for a very special space for our office and were expecting to design and build a brand new fit-out," said Hill. "I was already familiar with 11 Broadway and when I saw that this particular space was already built-out in a configuration that we could easily alter to suit our needs, it became the top consideration. The stunning views and the landmark location just sealed the deal."
Located on the 17th floor of 11 Broadway, GHWA's new space will accommodate a staff of up to sixty in an open studio concept. The office has panoramic views of New York Harbor, in addition to a multitude of Lower Manhattan architectural landmarks - the perfect setting for a leading architectural firm. The space has high ceilings and natural light from windows on all sides. With unrivalled access for clients, consultants and staff via subway, West Side Hwy. and the FDR Dr., the location was a natural selection for GHWA.
"We couldn't be more pleased to announce GHWA's new location," said Goldstein. "It's great to have this signature space as our base of operations while we continue to grow our business. The firm has been tapped as the lead architect for several major residential developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and having the right office is going to enable us to serve our clients even better."
Michael Rouzenrouch and Abe Saks of Miyad Realty represented GHWA. Mendy Braun of Braun Management represented the landlord of 11 Broadway. "Miyad was able to locate and secure a deal very quickly in a virtually turnkey installation where GHWA didn't have to spend a great deal of resources to build out their studio," Hill said. "Mendy Braun was a pleasure to do business with, making himself available at any time to accommodate our ambitious timeframe and giving all parties a great comfort level that 11 Broadway was the perfect new home for our firm."
