Rose of OAB Realty collaborates with Aquino of JAACRES in 69,500 s/f deal at the Swingline Building in Queens

Queens, NY Olivia Balsamo Rose, president of OAB Realty, and her brother Joseph Aquino, owner of JAACRES and an officer of OAB, have combined forces to assist Newel in renewing their 69,500 s/f lease at the Swingline Building, 32-01 Skillman Ave. in Long Island City. The lease included an additional second floor of 14,000 s/f.

Newel was founded in 1939. Newel originally provided furniture and props to various Broadway theatres. Over the years Newel branched out to serve many film, television, and commercial projects. Newel has the most extensive range of furnishings and decor of any prop house in the country: from period antiques and themed styles to mid-century and contemporary pieces. The curated collection includes items from around the world that cover virtually every style and century. Newell has one of the largest inventories in the industry, with new selections arriving every week.

The company’s showroom is in an industrial building, convenient to Manhattan and the other boroughs of the city, that offers parking. The number 7 subway train stops nearby. Newel serves the public by appointment.
