Roof garden systems and more: Allied Building Products, your one source, one solution for design

When you do business with Allied Building Products, you can be confident that you will find team members dedicated to the ideals of commitment to the construction and building industry at every level, from large architectural accounts to home remodelers. Many of our team members have been with Allied from the early stages which has allowed us to develop relationships and grow into one of the largest and most successful building materials distributors in the industry. At Allied we value safety with, and commitment to, our customers, partners and employees. Our dedicated sales teams at Allied are skillfully prepared to provide insight into 100k+ sku's of products. Around the building and construction industry, Allied is known as a commercial distributor... but we are much more than that. Allied services the Commercial, Residential and Industrial markets. Our product knowledge and offerings include green and sustainable products, waterproofing, roofing, roof garden systems, insulation, drywall, studs, windows, doors, tools, masonry, cool roof coatings, solar, stone, and the list and options go on. The strong ties to projects Allied has through our parent company, Oldcastle, lends to the breadth of opportunities available. Our experts can educate and assist with "good, better and best" options for product design specifications and alternatives. Our completed work on The Brooklyn Navy Yard Building 3 - Sustainable Roof Garden Assembly project is an excellent example of how we execute this. Led by Chris Rice, architectural product rep for Coastal Specified Products (a division of Allied Building Products), the sustainable roof garden project is just one notable example of the many levels which Allied can collaborate with you on designing and building. Working closely with Elizabeth Kennedy Architects, Dilip C Khale Architect, P.C., and Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp., Chris recommended and supplied a Carlisle system with an overburden warrantee as the basis of design. The roofing and garden system, built on the massive 35,000 s/f roof towering eleven stories over the East River was designed to meet the requirements of the grant provided by the DEP for the project. As part of the Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP's) Green Infrastructure Stormwater Management Initiative, the impressive project is one of the world's largest rooftop farm gardens. At Allied we pride ourselves on our focus on industry trends, project and product activity and networking both face-to-face and virtually. Through this engagement we gain industry insight that helps us to help you. Our product and project insights can help industry professionals from architects and engineers, building owners and managers, facilities managers, to general contractors and subs (specialty) contractors. Our goal is to simplify the product selection and design process with our "good, better and best" options and offer more customized product and project conversations with our customers based on your project needs and goals. We want to know what you want to know. What's important to you and your business? At Allied Building Products we value our relationships and a collaborative approach. Our goal is to be the most trusted building materials industry leader.
