New York, NY According to Romer Debbas, LLP, a boutique law firm that specializes in all aspects of real estate and general practice, Stacie Bryce Feldman, Esq. has joined the firm as a partner with the litigation team.
Feldman focuses on complex real estate litigation related to rent regulatory issues, due diligence, J-51 class action suits, commercial lease disputes, commercial contract disputes, Article 78 Proceedings, and complex landlord/tenant issues. She is also experienced in negotiating and drafting commercial real estate purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases and residential rent regulated, coop and condo leases. Recently, Feldman had the honor of providing comments on proposed legislation in the landlord tenant field pertaining to the impacts of COVID-19 prior to its enactment.
With a client base ranging from major residential and commercial developers to small owners and both commercial and residential tenants, Feldman takes a pragmatic and strategic approach to resolving disputes, recognizing that thinking outside of the box and reasonable compromise, balanced against her clients’ objectives, are valuable skills in garnering the desired outcome. In implementing this approach, she has achieved successful results for her clients when negotiating with adversaries, government officials, elected officials and tenant groups.
Feldman represents her clients in multiple forums including the Civil Court of the City of New York, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, the Appellate Term, First Department, the Appellate Division First and Second Departments, the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), and the Office of Trials and Administrative Proceeding (OATH).
A member of the bar of the state of New York and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts, Feldman received a Juris Doctorate degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Stonybrook where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
