Romer Debbas, LLP ranks in the top ten of New York City’s leading law firms

New York, NY Romer Debbas, LLP, a boutique law firm that specializes in all aspects of real estate and general practice, has been recognized by The Real Deal among New York City’s leading law firms. Examining September 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020, The Real Deal credits Romer Debbas, LLP with overseeing $397.1 million in sales, a total comprised of 158 transactions, claiming the 10th spot on the publication’s list.

Overall, The Real Deal found that the city’s top 40 law firms handled $15 billion worth of buyer-side property sales during the specified timeframe. The Real Deal calculated the rankings by analyzing NYC building sales of $1 million or more as recorded in ACRIS. The law firms were only credited for deals in which they represented the buyer.

Examining the debt-side, The Real Deal’s survey revealed $26 billion of $1 million-plus lender-side loans closed among NYC’s top 40 law firms. Romer Debbas was credited with $193.9 million, a total comprised of 158 transactions, earning the 30th spot.
