Brendan Conroy, Lynx Mortgage Bank, LLC

Name: Brendan Conroy

Title: Mortgage Loan Originator MLO#2015540

Company Name: Lynx Mortgage Bank, LLC

What led you to your current profession?

Before becoming a mortgage loan originator, I was working within the commercial title space while simultaneously working closely with a good friend of mine, Shahid Jafri. Shahid and I both attended St. Anthony’s High School on Long Island, as well as Fairfield University in Connecticut. When I had expressed an interest in the residential market, it was obvious that Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC would be the perfect fit. Knowing the Jafri family as long as I have, and the value they place on working together, it couldn’t have been a clearer choice. I knew that working with Zahra Jafri and the team at Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC was going to give me the absolute best opportunity to learn and understand the residential lending space.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

I have been a licensed mortgage loan originator for just over a year, and in that time period I was able to help three of my good friends purchase their first homes. Thankfully, I had the guidance of everyone at Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC behind me, from the president of the bank, Zahra Jafri, helping me take applications to our underwriters teaching me how to utilize a submission sheet. Assisting my friends in acquiring financing for their first homes, during the global health pandemic was a very gratifying process.
