Ones to Watch Fall 2022: Regina Loveridge, JASA Housing Management

Regina Loveridge
Construction Project Manager
JASA Housing Management

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

This year alone, I have managed nearly $15 million in capital improvements to JASA’s affordable senior housing portfolio, working to enhance the living experience of the older New Yorkers who call those buildings home. It has been both challenging and rewarding beyond measure.

What 3 skills do you consider the most important to be successful in your industry?

Organization is critical, but the ability to be flexible and decisive are two skills that, in my experience, make or break project plans, deadlines, and budgets.

What is one lesson that you had to learn the hard way?

As a woman in the male-dominated construction industry, I have learned the hard way that I must overly-communicate my boundaries and be more assertive than my male colleagues in order to earn the same amount of respect. I’m proud to be where I am in my career despite these challenges.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Reading and rock climbing are my favorite pastimes. I think they’re both uniquely enjoyable ways to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.
