The New York Real Estate Journal is pleased to present Industry Leaders, a special feature recognizing exceptional professionals whose leadership, innovation, and vision are shaping the future of New York's commercial real estate industry. This is an opportunity to highlight the individuals driving your firm's success and share their insights with NYREJ's influential audience of CRE professionals.

Who Qualifies

Industry Leaders are senior executives or department heads within a CRE firm or an organization that supports the industry through its services. This includes CEOs, presidents, partners, directors, and other leadership roles who have made measurable contributions to their firms and communities. Offices of record must be located in New York.

Below are the participation options and key dates for the 2026 Industry Leaders Spotlight.

- Profiles (Individuals + Team): April 13
- Advertising and Team Reservations: ASAP
- Advertising Materials Due: April 20
- Publication Date:  April 28

Ways to Participate

1. Recognize One Leader from Your Firm — No Charge

Recognize one professional from your firm using the 2026 Industry Leaders Q&A form.

• All approved profiles are published online
• Select profiles are featured in the print and digital editions

Connect Members: Guaranteed print and digital placement
Note:
 Adding a Recognition Ad guarantees placement for non-members as well.


2. Featured Leader Profile

For firms that would like to highlight a leader in greater depth, we offer a Featured Leader Profile, which expands the standard Q&A into a longer editorial feature. This option provides additional space to showcase the leader’s experience, leadership philosophy, and contributions to their firm and the industry.

Featured Leader Includes:

  • Expanded editorial profile (approximately 400 to 600 words)
  • Leader headshot and company attribution
  • Company logo and brief firm description and contact information as space allows
  • Priority placement within the spotlight section
  • Social media and newsletter promotion

3. Custom Team Feature Pages

These layouts highlight multiple leaders from your firm together on a structured team page and include dedicated advertising space within the spread. Ad creative is provided by the participating firm, with assistance available if needed. Each leader should submit their profile individually using the 2026 Industry Leaders Q&A form.
