Newman and Handler of Hander R.E. broker 8,300 s/f

Handler Real Estate Organization has arranged a long-term renewal on behalf of Daniel H. Cook Associates Inc. for the entire 12th floor at 253 West 35th St. Daniel H. Cook is a leading, full-service process administrator of hospital, medical and surgical claims. With this 8,300 s/f lease the firm will continue to operate out of its Garment District headquarters for the next ten years. Peter Newman and Darell Handler, of Handler, represented the tenant. Marvin Shulsky, of Shulsky Properties, represented the landlord. Built in 1924, 253 West 35th St. is an sixteen-story, 136,300 s/f loft building located between 7th Ave. and 8th Ave., close to Penn Station, multiple bus and subway lines, and the emerging Hudson Yards neighborhood.
