New commercial real estate hire at Giscombe Rlty.

Giscombe Realty Group LLC, one of Harlem's leading commercial real estate management, leasing and consulting firms, has hired Ronald Giscombe to join the company as a property management specialist. Giscombe, the brother of Eugene Giscombe, the president and founder of Giscombe Realty Group, previously worked for the FAA Federal Aviation Administration as a fully certified A.T.S.S. Airway Technical Systems Specialist for over twenty years, before retiring last year. Giscombe has extensive knowledge in HVAC intrusion alarm systems; fire alarms and construction and asbestos abatement. While working for the FAA, he was responsible for code enforcement at eight airports and over 109 facilities. He also maintained and deployed the portable Air Traffic Control Tower in direct support of national emergencies for F.E.M.A. Prior to working for the FAA, Giscombe worked for the A.O. Smith Boiler Company in St. Louis, Illinois, where he set up and maintained industrial robots. He also worked as a court officer in the New York Court System. Giscombe is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam. He also spent twenty years in the USAF as an electrician and controls System's Specialist . He also served his last ten years on embassy duty with the State Department in communication, electrical and electronic areas. He also served as past president of the New England NBCFAE National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees, the F.O.P. Fraternal Order of Police, U.S. Dept. of Defense Lodge #26 and PASS Professional Airways' Systems New England Chapter.
