Merritt & Harris, Inc. has been selected as the construction consultant firm for the New Meadowlands Stadium for the National Football League's New York Giants and New York Jets.
The 82,500 seat, 2.2 million s/f stadium, which is scheduled to open in time for the 2010 season, is the most recent project for the M & H Sports Group, which has consulted on 26 professional facilities since its inception in 1987, including the University of Phoenix Stadium (NFL's Arizona Cardinals), New Busch Stadium, (MLB's St. Louis Cardinals) and Lincoln Financial Field (NFL's Philadelphia Eagles).
Other current projects for the M & H Sports Group include Citi Field, the future home of the New York Mets, the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex., and the N.J. Devils' Prudential Arena in Newark, scheduled to open in October of this year.
