Manhattan Skyline welcomes Wink Pediatric Eye Care to West River House with 1,000 s/f lease

Manhattan, NY Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. has secured a long-term lease with Wink Pediatric Eye Care at 424 West End Ave. in the Upper West Side neighborhood.

Situated within a street level office at Manhattan Skyline’s 22-story, 230-unit luxury rental apartment building, West River House, Wink Pediatric Eye Care will operate from a 1,000 s/f space on West End Ave. Led by Dr. Stephanie Aguilar, the practice anticipates opening by the end of the summer.

“We are delighted to welcome Wink Pediatric Eye Care to West River House, joining a curated roster of service providers dedicated to enriching the lives of Upper West Side residents,” said Joshua Roth, senior vice president of retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corporation. “Dr. Aguilar’s passion and expertise in children’s eye health makes her a natural fit for this family-centered neighborhood.”

Dr. Aguilar is a board-certified optometrist specializing in pediatric optometry and vision therapy. She earned her pediatric residency and advanced clinical training from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2024, following nearly a decade of experience as an associate in private practice. Wink Pediatric Eye Care focuses on addressing and correcting visual impairments early on and helping children achieve their fullest potential through better visual health.

“I’m thrilled to bring Wink Pediatric Eye Care to West River House,” said Dr. Aguilar. “My journey into pediatric optometry began close to home – when my son needed specialized eye care, and I struggled to find it. That experience drives everything we do here at Wink.”

The practice sits adjacent to Inspire Orthodontics, which opened in the fall of 2024 and is led by Dr. Reem Abdulrahman.

Roth represented Manhattan Skyline in the long-term lease transaction. Wink Pediatric Eye Care was represented by Evan Gasman of CARR, INC. The space was formerly occupied by Metropolitan Reproductive Medicine.

West River House offers spacious, generously sized rentals ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. Many of the building’s residences offer features such as windowed eat-in-kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, large picture windows, terraces and balconies to take full advantage of the dramatic Hudson River and city views.

One of the few post-war properties on West End Ave., the building features an unusually large number of amenities including a fully equipped fitness center, a resident lounge, multipurpose room, landscaped and furnished roof deck, racquetball court and a children’s playroom. The full-service building is pet friendly, features a 24-hour doorman, Sky’s the Limit Concierge Services, a laundry room on every floor and an attended parking garage.

Tucked between Riverside Park and Central Park, West River House is within walking distance to some of Manhattan’s most renowned cultural attractions, including the American Museum of Natural History, the New York Historical Society and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. The Calhoun School is located across the street from the property. Nearby transportation access includes the 1, 2, 3, B and C subway lines and multiple bus routes.
