Mambrino and Farmakis of Studley represent LUKOIL is 20,433 s/f lease
LUKOIL Pan Americas is consolidating its crude oil and refined products trading operations which have, until recently, consisted of two trading divisions that have existed in the New York metropolitan area for a number of years. LUKOIL has signed a 20,433 s/f lease at 1095 Avenue of the Americas, formerly the Verizon Building.
John Mambrino and Nicholas Farmakis of international commercial real estate services firm Studley represented LUKOIL.
"We were fortunate to hit the market at the right time," said Mambrino. "We had a handful of options all in quality, well located buildings, but 1095 Avenue of the Americas represented the best option."
"The Bryant Park location and building were highly desirable to LUKOIL," said Farmakis. "The building itself has been impressively renovated, and the landlord is constructing LUKOIL's space on the 33rd floor to its specifications."
"Location was extremely important," said Mambrino. "1095 Avenue of the Americas at 42nd St. and Sixth Ave. is centrally located for the employees, most of whom will be commuting from N.J. and Long Island.
Robert Stillman and Zachary Freeman of CBRE represented the ownership. Robert Nash and Keith Pollock of Schulte Roth & Zabel were the attorneys who acted on behalf of the ownership, while Daniel Weisz of Marans, Weisz & Newman acted on behalf of LUKOIL.
