Li of Crystal Window & Door receives Top Women in Business Award

The New York City business community continues to recognize the achievements and promise of Crystal Window & Door Systems' top management. Crystal's New York sales administration manager Janice Li was one of several individuals to receive the Queens 2015 Top Women in Business Award at a gala reception on May 14th at Terrace on the Park in Queens. The Top Women in Business Award recognizes influential women leaders from the business, non-profit and government sectors whose major achievements and participation in the community are having a positive impact on the borough of Queens and the city of New York. The gala reception featured special guests Alison Morris, FOX 5 TV Business Reporter and Jillian Tapper, Miss New York 2014, as award presenters. Among other recipients were top executives from New York Hospital Queens, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, New York Life Insurance Company, Rockrose Development, and the Queens Economic Development Corp. "I am truly honored to receive this award and all it represents," said Li. "My work with one of the largest New York area manufacturers and its branches around the country has afforded me many opportunities. I appreciate the confidence Crystal executives have placed in me, the experience I've gained, and the contributions I've been able to make to the company. I also would like to thank my fellow co-workers at Crystal for their support and encouragement." As the New York sales administration manager, Li's team is responsible for processing tens of thousands of window quotes-to-orders for many N.Y. metro area trade customers. Li and her staff of 12 sales and customer service representatives manage accounts for over 2,000 contractor and window dealer customers and millions in sales annually, which have increased 30% over the past five years due in part to the programs she has implemented. With Crystal since 1997, Li earned her bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University - State University of New York (SUNY) with a double major in business management and economics. The "Top Women in Business" Award program is championed by the Queens Courier publication, a major weekly periodical that serves the 2.3 million residents and thousands of businesses in the borough.
