LCOR completes Allen - 28-story 307-unit residential community

New Rochelle, NY LCOR, a real estate investment, development, and management firm, has commenced the grand opening and completion of Allen, a 28-story, design-forward residential tower. The milestone marks the completion of one of Westchester County’s most anticipated new residential developments – a building that pairs elegant interiors by Asprea Studio and contemporary amenities with sustainability through one of New York State’s largest residential geothermal systems.

Located at 247 North Ave., Allen features 307 residences, 31 of which are designated affordable. The building is powered by a geothermal system that eliminates the need for fossil fuel-burning equipment, cutting carbon emissions and lowering energy costs for residents.

“The completion of Allen reflects our commitment to develop sustainable, sophisticated communities that define the future of urban living,” said Anthony Tortora, co-chief investment officer and principal at LCOR. “The community was thoughtfully designed to enhance the daily lives of residents, from the elevated unit layouts and curated luxury amenities to its direct access to the New Rochelle Metro-North train station. Allen is a testament of the continued growth and vitality of New Rochelle and we’re proud to contribute to this thriving community.”

The interiors were designed by Karen Asprea, founder and principal of Asprea Studio. The spaces were conceived to make residents feel like they were arriving home from the moment they stepped in the doors. Expansive walnut paneling, elevated finishes, and custom artwork reflect the spirit of New Rochelle’s historic waterfront while offering a contemporary sense of comfort and connection.

Residents have a comprehensive amenity suite, including a fitness and wellness center with yoga studio, outdoor pool and landscaped sun deck, co-working suites, and a penthouse sky lounge with unobstructed skyline views. Additional features include a media lounge, game room, pet spa, bicycle storage, on-site retail, and over 250 parking spaces.

Two blocks from the New Rochelle Metro-North station, Allen offers a 30-minute commute to Grand Central Terminal, with future access to Penn Station expected by 2027 through expanded Metro-North service. Surrounded by dining, retail, and entertainment options, the property anchors a walkable downtown neighborhood and contributes to New Rochelle’s continued transformation into one of the region’s most connected and livable city centers.

Allen marks a milestone in LCOR’s growing portfolio of transit-oriented, sustainable residential communities across the New York metropolitan area. It follows the successful completion of 1515 Surf Ave. in Coney Island – New York City’s largest geothermal residential project – and precedes Charlie at Hoboken Connect, which will become New Jersey’s largest geothermal multifamily building upon completion in 2027.

Those first 100 days are when that fresh energy can do the most good. Homeowners spend more than 60% of their lives inside their buildings, so every early decision — good or bad — echoes through bedrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
