Lam Generation celebrates opening of Renaissance NY Chelsea Hotel

 

 

Manhattan, NY Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel has opened  as one of the tallest properties in the  Chelsea neighborhood. Rising 39 floors at 430 ft. high, the brand’s first hotel in Chelsea is crowned with one of the highest rooftop pools in the city, with 360? views.

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is owned by Lam Generation, which is also the developer for Renaissance New York Harlem, and managed by Real Hospitality Group.

Located on the former site of the Antiques Garage flea market, the hotel pays homage to the site’s history and the area’s antique shops with a design concept by architecture and interior design firm Stonehill Taylor.

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is the latest hotel to debut under the brand’s growing North American portfolio which includes new hotels in Philadelphia, Toledo, Reno, Dallas and Newport Beach, as well as renovated properties in Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Palm Desert. The brand is set to grow its NYC footprint over the next two years with openings in Flushing and Harlem.

Located at 112 W. 25th St. between 6th and 7th Aves., the hotel is near some of the area’s most in-demand spots, such as Chelsea Market and The High Line. The property is near the 1, 2, N, Q, R, W, A, C and E MTA subway lines, as well as New York Pennsylvania Station.
