JLL names Gleiber on REIB team and Lottefier as head of int'l. business
Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has tapped senior VP Joshua Gleiber for its growing Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) team as a value recovery services specialist. Gleiber joined the firm four years ago as the North American Transaction manager as part of the firm's corporate solutions business.
JLL has also hired Vincent Lottefier to join its New York office as head of international business for the firm's tri-state region. An international director, Lottefier was previously CEO in charge of the company's operations in India.
"Clients are demanding resolutions for a whole host of assets, including both performing and nonperforming loans and real estate owned," said Bart Steinfeld, managing director of JLL's Capital Markets Group and head of the REIB practice. "By adding someone of Joshua's calibre to our REIB team, we are furthering out mission to help clients understand these new trends and create solutions that will help them react decisively."

Gleiber has more than 20 years of experience in real estate, finance, banking, construction, development and asset management with a strong concentration in the workout and asset management of distressed real estate debt and equity positions. He has completed more than $500 million in acquisitions and dispositions, $300 million of financing, and two million s/f of leasing transactions.
Prior to joining JLL, Gleiber held various roles at Carlton Strategic Ventures, LLC; Artery Capital Group, LLC; GARI Realty Advisors, Inc.; Meringoff Properties; BRT Realty Trust and EAB Bank/ABN Amro. Mr. Gleiber's experience in the workout and asset management of distressed real estate debt and equity positions began in 1991, when he joined EAB Bank/ABN Amro. There he was responsible for a portfolio of $500 million of distressed real estate assets. He later joined BRT Realty Trust, where he was charged with the liquidation of real estate debt and equity positions in BRT's distressed portfolio and was a member of its loan committee.
Gleiber earned his undergraduate degree of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University and his masters in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University (NYU). He has served as an adjunct professor at NYU in their Master of Science in Real Estate program teaching a class in Real Estate Capital Markets. In addition, he has served on the alumni board and as a governor of the alumni board for that program at NYU for over 10 years. He is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York, Long Island Real Estate Group, and Commercial Brokers and Industrial Society of Long Island. He is a licensed real estate broker in NYS.
Lottefier will leverage his knowledge of global markets and the company's international capabilities for the benefit of existing clients in the metropolitan region and throughout the northeast. He will expand the company's international business across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific regions and will forge relationships with key personnel in JLL's New York office to incorporate a global component to its range of client services.

Lottefier has more than 19 years of experience in the real estate sector and his experience spans diverse aspects of real estate, including strategic portfolio services, business plan integration, mergers and acquisitions, real estate master planning, account management, transactions, project management, valuations, and portfolio consolidation strategies.
Prior to joining the company's New York office, Lottefier led a team of more than 3,000 real estate professionals located in 10 offices throughout India that delivered a wide range of real estate solutions and services. The group's service platform included transaction management, project and development management, facility and property management, research, strategic consulting, capital markets, valuation and retail advisory.
Lottefier has worked in six countries outside of the U.S., including Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, China, Hong Kong and India. He has also worked in the corporate real estate departments of leading corporations, serving as a regional director with Level 3 Communications, and as director and head of Asia Pacific real estate for Nortel.
Lottefier received a bachelor's degree in urban studies from California State University. He is a member of Jones Lang LaSalle's India Board and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
