IREM NYC’s Second Annual Clay Shoot to be held October 2nd, to benefit Gigi’s Playhouse NYC

New York, NY Join IREM NYC for a great day of fun, for an even greater cause. IREM NYC’s Second Annual Clay Shoot will be held on Friday, October 2nd at Mid-Hudson Sporting Clays in New Paltz, NY.

This year’s clay shoot will benefit GiGi’s Playhouse NYC, a community center where families gather to celebrate, inspire, and empower each other, to attend programs, lectures and events that promote self-esteem and self-advocacy, and to find support and friendship. It’s also an education center where weekly educational and social programs prepare individuals with Down syndrome to engage more fully in their homes, communities and schools. And, GiGi’s is an awareness center dedicated to changing New York’s perception of Down syndrome, so that the abilities and contributions of our community are recognized and embraced by all.

IREM NYC Chapter president Sharon Hart Fanelli, CPM said, “Gigi’s Playhouse NYC is an organization near and dear to my heart. As a current volunteer, former Board member and parent of a child with Down syndrome, I know first hand what a tremendous difference this organization can make in the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families too. This is going to be a great event and I simply can’t wait!”

100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to GiGi’s Playhouse NYC.
