HVSCC arranges sale of Hampton Inn/Holiday Inn

HVS Capital Corp (HVSCC) has served as exclusive advisor to the court appointed receiver in the sale of the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn. The portfolio was sold to a private owner/operator and comprised of 225 rooms, 2,500 s/f of meeting space, outdoor pools, and food and beverage facilities. "We were very pleased with our representation by HVSCC," said Kirby Payne, court appointed receiver for the portfolio. The transaction team overcame a number of challenges and provided us with professional, effective representation that allowed for the transaction to close in a very smooth and satisfactory manner." According to Bill Sipple, managing director of HVSCC, "The hotels are well positioned to capture demand from throughout the Nashville market. The buyer is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the operating efficiencies inherent in 'complexing' the management of the properties and take them to the next level of operation."
