Manhattan, NY SJP Properties has added Paul Chung as head of acquisitions. At SJP, Chung will join a dynamic team focused on the acquisition and development of class A office and industrial buildings, residential properties, and mixed-use projects across the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area and select Southeast markets.
With nearly 50 years of experience, SJP Props. has developed and acquired over 30 million s/f of property and completed $6.5 billion in real estate transactions. The firm is widely recognized for its deep market expertise, long-standing relationships, and vertically integrated approach spanning development, investment, construction, and asset management.

PChung brings more than a decade of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, capital markets, and asset management across a broad range of asset classes, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial and self-storage properties throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Southeast markets. Prior to joining SJP Properties, Chung served as head of acquisitions at Quinlan Development Group, where he sourced and underwrote acquisition opportunities, led due diligence and financing efforts, and managed investments totaling more than $500 million in equity and debt transactions representing over $1.2 billion in total capitalization. He also originated the firm’s self-storage development platform, established a programmatic joint venture with PGIM, and oversaw the full development cycle across six ground-up projects.
Prior to Quinlan, Chung was partner and director of acquisitions & capital markets at Solomon Builders, where he oversaw acquisition and capital markets strategies, originated new development opportunities and successfully raised and closed more than $92 million in financing across several projects. Earlier in his career, he held roles with Wildflower LTD (formerly Madison Development) and Resource Real Estate. Chung holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
