The largest is a grocery store anchored 186,000 SF facility that we are currently prepping for a major renovation. I handle all aspects of property management including tenant leasing, maintenance contracting, financing, rent collection, bookkeeping, audit prep, insurance claims and the list goes on and on. Real estate organizations / affiliations: ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), I earned my CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager) designation by passing the CSM exam which required qualifying at intensive study programs held at Michigan State University, University of Georgia and University of Syracuse. How do you stay ahead of the curve? My involvement with the Executive Women's Golf Association has given me the means and support to "raise the bar" with the many networking, personal enrichment and volunteering opportunities. What advice would you give to a woman just starting a career in your field? The advice I would give a woman entering my field is to make sure that you are prepared for an ever-changing environment and if you know a little something about the game of golf, it would give you an added advantage since I consider golf a necessary "business tool."
