Hartman of Pliskin Realty & Development completes seven leases for Advanced Auto Parts, Inc.

Marvin Hartman, exec.VP at Pliskin Realty & Development recently completed seven leases for space on Long Island for Advance Auto Parts, Inc., (AAP) a leading automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, batteries, accessories, and maintenance items. Hartman, who has a long track record securing leases for major national brand retailers, secured the following leases: * A 6,000 s/f freestanding building at 900 Montauk Hwy. for which Hartman acted as the exclusive broker for AAP and the owner, a private investor; * A 6,000 s/f freestanding building at Furrors Rd. and Main St. in Holbrook. Hartman acted as the exclusive broker for AAP and the owner, a private investor; * A 6,200 s/f space in a strip shopping center at Middle Country Rd. and Coles Dr. in Centereach. Hartman acted as the exclusive broker for AAP and the owner, a private investor; * A 9,000 s/f freestanding building at 2 Jericho Tpke. in Floral Park. Hartman represented AAP and Sholom and Zuckerbrot represented the owner, a private investor; * A 9,300 s/f freestanding building at 252 E. Main St. in Patchogue. Hartman represented AAP and Starbach Realty represented the owner, a private investor: * A 6,000 s/f space in a strip shopping center at 180 Old Country Rd. in Hicksville for which Hartman represented AAP and Ripco Realty represented the owner, a private investor; * A one-acre ground lease at Jericho Turnpike and Evergreen Avenue in Huntington. Hartman acted as the exclusive broker for AAP and the owner, a private investor. Hartman, who holds a bachelor of arts from Queens College and an MBA from Pace University, noted that AAP has asked him to locate additional sites for new stores throughout Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley region. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact.
