H2M announces contributions to local and national non-profits

 

 

Melville, NY H2M architects + engineers (H2M) recently donated to several local and national non-profits from the proceeds of a charity raffle at their annual holiday party in December, with H2M matching 100% of the funds. Representatives from Together for Youth, John Theissen Children's Foundation, Long Island Cares, Inc. | The Harry Chapin Food Bank, and Mondays Cancer Care accepted donations in January. H2M also contributed to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

H2M incorporates social responsibility into its mission by supporting local organizations through donations and volunteer efforts. In addition to year-end contributions, H2M organizes fundraisers for Pink Aid and Island Harvest, among other activities.

 

 

“At H2M, we believe in giving back to the community,” said Rich Humann, P.E., president and CEO of H2M. “Our contributions to these incredible organizations reflect our commitment to making a positive impact and supporting those in need.”

John Thiessen Children’s Foundation
The John Theissen Children's Foundation supports sick and underprivileged children across Long Island by providing therapeutic and recreational equipment to hospitals and child-care facilities, assisting families with medical expenses, and running an annual holiday toy drive to bring joy to children in need.

Long Island Cares, Inc. | The Harry Chapin Food Bank 
Founded in 1980 by singer-songwriter and activist Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares is dedicated to serving Long Island’s hungry and food-insecure populations. Long Island Cares is one of almost 200 food banks across America that provides food to people impacted by hunger and food insecurity. When founded, Long Island Cares served a mere handful of agencies in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, but today, it distributes more than ten million pounds of food and supplies to nearly 400 member agencies in Nassau and Suffolk Counties annually and operates 5 satellite offices plus their main office and warehouse in Hauppauge.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Together for Youth
Together for Youth is the trusted partner in providing empathetic, excellent, and individualized care to every individual they serve. They provide a safe haven and the best possible support for families and youth in need in 57 counties across the State of New York. Together for Youth’s services include foster care, group home, and behavioral health programs.
