Brian Gross, president of GFI Insurance Services, was recently awarded the Young Business Leadership Award by the Hebrew Academy for Special Children (HASC) at the 6th Annual Tribute Dinner. Gross is the driving force behind GFI Insurance Services, a brokerage firm that insures billions of dollars worth of real estate annually and also provides employee benefits insurance.
"I was honored to receive the Young Business Leadership award From the Hebrew Academy for Special Children," said Brian Gross. This has enabled us to grow from a three person, local insurance brokerage firm into a rapidly expanding nationwide company."
Gross' unique approach to the insurance business has been maintaining a staff of young, cutting-edge individuals who have excitement and commitment to the industry. Under his leadership, the company has increased its revenue 33% in the past year alone.
Other honorees at the dinner included Stanley Cheera, real estate executive and developer, as well as Jonathan Mechanic, chairman of Fried Frank's real estate department. Darcy Stacom, vice chairwoman at CB Richard Ellis, was the master of ceremonies.
